Trim the wick to one-quarter inch before each burn. Place the candle on a stable, heat-safe surface away from drafts, children, and pets. On the first burn, allow the melt pool to reach the edges of the vessel without exceeding four hours.
Let the candle cool before moving it. Once cool, cover it and store it in a dry place away from direct sunlight. If soy wax spills, hot soapy water will usually make cleanup straightforward.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
